As Texas residents in the hot, hot, heat of the summer, we tend to get a little warm in the late afternoon. Casey very kindly filled up this little tub so I could soak my feet in it while sitting in the backyard. Georgia immediately stripped down and hopped in, displacing my feet. It was cute enough that I really didn't mind.

I truly could not say why... I mean, the headgear alone is enough to put you in a fabulous mood all the day long.

While we were all getting ready for work and school on Friday, G had parked herself in the favorite chair near the front window. "Mama! Two mens are bringing us cans!!" was the shriek I heard from the kitchen.
Sure enough, I looked out of the window and the street in front of our house looked like this:



I guess our neighbors just think we're really messy people.

update: the whole street received new recycling bins yesterday... our house was apparently the most convenient spot for the drop-off/pick-up extravaganza.

G was excited.
