Adele's Cake

This is extremely belated, so apologies all around (especially to the grandparents) but did you know that posting to a blog every day is hard? I am discovering that it is. Hats off to those who can keep up with multiple blogs as well... not a very good multitasker over here, I've realized.
So cake! And babies! (I'm still calling her a baby. Oh yes.)





(I think she enjoyed it.)



And yes, we did have to completely strip her down after cake. She was literally covered in icing. Ah well, you only turn one once, right?

Adele is One

How can our sweet baby be one year old already? Adele, you are the sweetest, funniest, cutest little birdie. You love zerberts on your tummy, any and all food, baby dolls, giving kisses, taking baths, hugs, Homer, the kitties and especially your big sister. I wish I was more eloquent, but I really don't think there are words enough to express how lucky I feel to be your mama.

Happy birthday, wonderful girl. We love you more than anything.

The New Undertaking

In the spirit of the photo above, I'm starting 2010 by achieving one of my goals... please click over and visit me at hazeled! I'm both scared out of my pants and very excited at the same time, if such a thing is possible. Any and all feedback welcome!
