She was willing to take her new lunchbox, which has a picture of a shark on it; she had concerns that it might scare some of the kids. We assured her that, as big kids, they could handle the shark.

Then she got silly. (And a tad overly sunscreened. Whoops.)

After school, I went to pick her up, she threw an enormous fit about leaving, I had to physically carry her out of the schoolyard, and I was reminded that she's not really as big a kid as she pretends to be.
Which is ok with me. I mean, it was just yesterday she was this little, right?!

How do they grow so quickly? I'm glad day one went well. I hope you and Adele had a lovely day together!
So cute! We toyed with the idea of putting Lucas in the Montessori PS in a spot that just opened up, but they really wanted a 4yo for the mix and it made the decision easier for us. We're not ready for him to be away for 15hrs a week, kind of overkill even for a very active guy! So we'll save our $3600 and put it towards something more exciting. :)
Wow. SUCH a big girl. I agree--it does seem like yesterday that she was just a tiny thing. Ryan starts her montessori school next week, and I know I'm going to absolutely lose it when I have to drop her off on the first day. But I also know she'll be very happy there. :)
Okay, not sure she could be any cuter.
And I love that her name is Georgia! That's been on my name list for years. We'll see if I ever get to child number 3...
