Let's start with our trusty vehicle, which first carried me, Jane, the girls, and Homer to Louisiana for a couple of days, and then on to South Carolina.
Hello, Matrix. You're a good little camper.

We packed everything on top, buckled the girls in, settled Homer in the back and went on our merry way.
We had a few days in Abita Springs with my parents and then went on to the beach. The drive up there was... interesting. (I'm pretty sure Georgia threw the biggest tantrum of her LIFE right before we hit South Carolina, and my dad was the lucky one who got to witness it.) But why dwell on the negative aspects? We made it there!

We immediately settled in and the girls donned their regular uniforms: undies and not a whole lot else.
Many popsicles were consumed.

There was a lot of swimming, eating, boardwalk time, visiting and porch sitting, which made it the perfect vacation. Many more pictures are on the way!
