Seven

It's hard to believe that we've been married for seven years.

I'm not sure how to sum them up, so I'll just start with:
wedding
pets
house
new jobs
left jobs
baby
law school
baby
best seven years I could have hoped for

Some things have gone our way, some things haven't, but I'm really glad that we have each other.

Happy anniversary, Case. I love you.

The Caped Crusader

Both girls received superhero capes as Christmas gifts, because who doesn't need a superhero cape? (Actually, I'm fairly certain I need one in my size as well. Might make the tough days easier.)
Georgia had a few hilarious moments while wearing hers a couple weeks ago at sunset.

"how YOU doin'?"

check me out.

hey there. what's your sign?

hooray!

TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER.

Gigi and Coco in NYC

A few weeks ago, Georgia and I were able to make a trip to NYC to visit my cousin (and G's godmother) Amanda, and see my grandfather and aunt and uncle and cousin Marc.
We had a great time in the city, though I think Georgia was a little overwhelmed.

If you know Georgia, then you know her doll Coco. Coco has been with G for most of her life, and this trip was no exception.

Without further ado, here are Gigi and Coco in NYC (with a nod to the super talented Stephanie Rausser, as her fantasic Kiki and Coco in Paris was the inspiration for the slideshow.)

Untitled from narmalie on Vimeo.

(I don't recommend watching it full-screen, because the images are fuzzy -- FRUSTRATING- but if you click to make it fullscreen and then click to "scaling is off" button on the upper right hand side it should look normal. I think.}

Renewal

Last weekend, Casey suggested that I grab my camera and that we all go on a walk. Georgia has been growing like crazy and so we mostly gave her clothes for her birthday, so we did a little fashion show. (She wasn't crazy about the idea, but she let me do it.) I had been feeling a little out of sorts lately, and taking the camera along for the ride really made me feel better, and reminded me of why I love to take pictures.

Casey took a few photos of me with the girls, which I love. I so often have the camera that rarely am I in any of the pictures!
