Vacation All I Ever Wanted

The three day weekend was amazing. It was exactly what we needed... we hung around the house, worked in the yard, had playdates with Mason and Aiwyn (G was over the moon) and took trips to BookPeople and Wheatsville. In other words... we didn't do much of anything at all. And it was wonderful. Sometimes weekends fly by, but this one was nice and slow. And I took a LOT of pictures.
So! Our weekend in photos commences.

Starting the day with some serious Jenga block activity. (Side note: I don't know if the Montessori method has kicked in or what, but Georgia is ALL ABOUT doing everything herself. Hence the inside out pajamas... she insists on choosing her clothing and pajamas and dressing herself with no help. Last night I went in to assist with the toothbrushing and I got a "No, Mama. Just walk away. I'm doing this all by myself.")

Then we headed over to Pease Park for a picnic and some playground time.

I challenge you to find a more "three year old" face than this one. I'm sure I was trying to make her do something she didn't want to do.

THREE YEARS OLD

I want to eat this baby with a spoon. She is at the best stage... crawling like crazy, getting teeth (well, I don't love that part), and wanting to do everything her big sister does.

Best. Photo. Ever.

See the teeth?

Casey took camera duty for a little while.

(I promise I was wearing a top... it was just a strapless dress.)

I think the weekend can best be summed up by Georgia. We went from this:

haaaa
to this:

pooped

Always the sign of a great weekend.
